3 low-code AI Agent Builder platforms at a glance
Building AI agents without writing a single line of code - We take a look at three outstanding no-code to low-code AI agent builder platforms: Flowise, n8n and Google Cloud Vertex AI.

Agents have been all the rage since last year. Put simply, an AI agent is nothing more than a language model (LLM) with the ability to perform actions. This can range from web searches to complex algorithms that are executed independently by an AI. Of course, developing such agents sounds like a lot of programming work at first. However, thanks to the rapid development in the industry, there are already frameworks and SDKs (such as LangChain or the Agent SDK from OpenAI) that make programming easier.
For companies where expertise in this area is still scarce, there are already solutions for building AI agents without writing a single line of code. In our last post, we took a closer look at Manus. In this blog post, we take a look at three outstanding no-code to low-code AI agent builder platforms: Flowise, n8n and Google Cloud Vertex AI.
1. Flowise
Flowise is an open-source platform that enables developers to easily create customized LLM (Large Language Model) applications. The platform offers a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface that can be used to create chat flows and autonomous agents. Users can use over 100 integrations to load data and perform analytics. The ability to link LLMs with memory functions greatly enhances interactivity and user experience. With prices starting at USD 35 per month, Flowise is particularly attractive for small teams and companies. However, if you have some technical know-how, you can also host Flowise yourself free of charge, as the tool is open source.

2. n8n
n8n is a popular open source workflow automation platform designed specifically for technical teams. It offers over 400 integrations and allows users to create complex automations without being dependent on a specific programming language. An outstanding feature of n8n is the ability to implement both low-code and no-code solutions, making it accessible to a broad target group. With an active community and extensive documentation, n8n is ideal for companies that want to drive automation without major development effort. In addition, n8n has a whole range of AI integrations to build agents. One of these agents even helps me maintain this blog!

3. Google Cloud Vertex AI
Google Cloud Vertex AI is a powerful AI development platform that provides organizations with a variety of tools to quickly build and deploy generative AI applications. The Vertex AI Agent Builder enables users to create powerful AI-powered experiences with an easy-to-use, codeless user interface. Vertex AI is characterized by its ability to integrate with other Google Cloud services, making it an optimal choice for companies that already rely on Google services. Pricing is usage-based, but offers robust performance that raises the bar for cost-effectiveness considerably. The learning curve here is a little steeper than with n8n or Flowise, but it pays off in the long run.

Conclusion
Our review of these three low-code AI agent builder platforms shows that organizations today have access to powerful and easy-to-use tools to develop AI-powered solutions without having to develop their own software. While Flowise and n8n focus heavily on accessibility for small teams, Google Cloud Vertex AI offers a comprehensive solution for companies already working in the Google environment. It is clear that the choice of platform depends on a company's specific requirements and goals. Whether for automation, new applications or integration with existing systems, the possibilities are diverse and promising. Use these technologies to future-proof your business processes!
